- By becoming a member of HCB, you will be able to:

- Vote on HCB Acts and Elections
- Membership with HCB is also a membership with American Council of the Blind
- Come to entertainment events and field trips.
- Non-Members may attend HCB events with other members by RSVP.
- HCB Scholarship Program

We plan to give at least 2 scholarships in 2009, and we have one other scholarship exclusively for students studying information
technology or computer science.

- When You Meet a Blind Person remember that every individual has a unique personality and therefore reacts in a unique way to blindness or visual impairment.
